With his zest for architecture and his leadership skills, David is primarily charged with managing large and complex architectural projects, while contributing to the continued growth and development of Quorum Architects as a principal. Working primarily with municipal clients, David has led many of the firm's largest and most complex projects including over 30 municipal service center and Public Works related projects and more than 40 Animal Shelter and Adoption Facility projects. He has been instrumental in guiding multi-million dollar projects with multiple users and tenants through the process of consensus building and teamwork. With regard to Animal Adoption Facilities, David has been an advocate of revolutionizing the way animals are temporarily cared for while waiting on adoptions including more social interaction, access to outdoor facilities, and improved indoor environments all with a concern of the animal's overall health and well-being. He has a large loyal network of municipal clients and friends that utilize his presence in multiple municipalities, in which he has become a trusted advisor of changes sweeping through the industries with which he is involved.David started at Quorum in 1996 after 10 years at Rady and Associates, Inc / Kimley Horn. He quickly ascended from Project Manager, to Associate, and then joined 4 other partners as Principal, helping to grow the firm from 10 employees to 23 dedicated successful and professional employees. With a focus on growing his faith life, David has remained busy outside of work as a devoted husband and father of what was active teenage boys and now young adult children, serving on his local Planning and Zoning Commission for 21 years, the Downtown Improvement District Committee, and various planning committees for his church and local municipalities. He has also been involved in professional organizations such as Leadership Fort Worth, American Public Works Associations, and Texas Unites for Animals
