Responsible for the management of the Wealth Package product, construction loans and the Compassionate Care insurance product:• Led an initiative to improve the value proposition of the Wealth Package by introducing the Ultimate Awards Credit Card as a benefit.• Led a project to close the Compassionate Care insurance product.

Accountable for the delivery of enhanced product governance requirements under the Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) within the Home Buying team, and optimisation of a new digital tool for customers to manage their home loans online.• Performed in-depth analysis of the new DDO obligations with internal and external legal specialists and managed a team of multidisciplinary specialists towards delivery over a 10-month time frame.• Delivered a full range of solutions - including customer collateral, digital process updates, new internal policies, and 50+ new data dashboards – both on time and within budget.• Acted as product lead for the delivery of a new digital tool to allow customers to manage their home loan in-life, such as making changes to repayments and products without needing to speak to a lender.

Responsible for the design and delivery of the Australian Government’s home loan guarantee program within the Commonwealth Bank.• Successfully negotiated with the federal government to secure access to Government Guarantees for the Bank’s customers.• Led a team of project SMEs through agile methodology to launch the product, managing the technical requirements, deliveries and testing, operational changes, communications, and leadership forums.• Delivered the product within just four weeks resulting in over 20,000 new loans being provided, including 75% of all available places under the scheme nationwide in the first year of launch.

Accountable for optimisation of Parental Guarantees, Lenders Mortgage Insurance, and other features designed to minimise credit risk and assist customers with low deposits.• Developed and delivered on a product strategy for Parental Guarantees through implementing system and policy updates that significantly reduced complaints (by ~20%), addressed ombudsman concerns and improved operational efficiency.• Led a major compliance project within the Commonwealth Bank Home Buying team to comply with the updated Banking Code of Practice. This included completing a full analysis of the updated Code and implementing a range of system, operational and training changes to improve customer rights.

As an Economist Graduate in the Victorian Public Service, my roles involved coordinating ministerial briefs on a range of policy issues including budget updates, infrastructure projects and new legislation.
