Through Franklin Energy I am a Contractor for ComEd, Nicor Gas, People Gas, and North Shore Gas implementing their Energy Efficiency Programs to their clients. This includes the installation of energy saving products from Electrical measures such as light bulbs and thermostats, to Gas measures that include plumbing fixtures, pipe wrap and also thermostats. There is a high level of customer service as we conduct our work in customer’s homes, large condo/renter unit buildings from public housing all the way up to high-end and market rate buildings. We deal with interpersonal communications on a daily basis and are responsible for data entry and inventory processing on a daily basis as we work in small self-sufficient teams to complete our scheduled tasks.

As a Delivery Coordinator, I am responsible for all customer and commercial delivery purchases that will go out on a daily basis. I pull and select all products per order and do quality control checks on all merchandise before it is delivered. I work directly with our third party delivery service Cory Companies as well as our in house truck drivers to coordinate all the logistics for each delivery. As a receiving associate I work with my team members to unload our daily freight trucks as well and receive and invoice all product from our vendors that come in through our dock and receiving area.

We work together to ensure that we adhere to the needs of our customers by ordering and maintaining all necessary products along with ensuring that they are priced accurately. I work closely with other department store manager to also ensure that all departments are meeting their sales goals, along with reviewing all P &L reports monthly. As a Manager I report into the corporate office, to ensure that we are following all P&P. I also work with all businesses that provide us products and ensure that we are receiving all appropriate merchandise that has been ordered. I run store audits along with auditing all shipments the store receives and validating vendor invoices to ensure quantity of products and prices of products match.
