A Regional IS Manager oversees IS operational and technical support in a region covering multiple branches.Key components of this role are: • To ensure adherence to the Company's policies and procedures• To display and communicate the Company’s culture• To serve as a Regional advocate• To protect the Network• To mentor local IS staff development• To train branch management on system architecture, data management, retention and reporting, and other available IT tools to improve processes, productivity and customer service.Major responsibilities- Branch Technical Support such as moves, server’s administration, advanced troubleshooting, global and regional projects implementation.- Responsible for maintaining effective after-hours IS support program in the region- Responsible for ensuring Corporate policies toward data backup and data protection are in effect for all branches in the region- Promote effective and optimal network bandwidth usage by applications and staff. (Internet Usage, Router Traffic, email file size, etc)- Regional Asset Management and cost control through involvement with local budgeting, purchasing, depreciation monitoring and maintenance of hardware support contracts- Responsible for compliance with procedures related to IS and Conduct regular branch IS Audits.- Regular and timely communication with Regional VP's, Country Manager , DMs and Regional Manager- Offer suggestions and comments to IS/CHQ for system improvements - Prepare and execute the tactical business plan for the IS department- Manage branch hardware acquisitions to make sure that money is spent on items to boost productivity.- Support branch disaster recovery efforts as they occur- Deliver IS training courses within the region
