I started my professional career working for KOTRA (Korea Trade and Investments Agency), in charge for Italian investments in South Korea, and business opportunities for Korean companies in Italy. I later on accepted the offer from MISTRAL SrL (machinery sector) as responsible for International Sales & Business Development. The professional development I got during this period, gave me the chance to join Formenti & Giovenzana Group, Division FGV (metal fitting industry), with the task of developing a Sales networks, new distribution channels and big accounts. Later on I developed the position into IKEA Key Account with the main task to deliver FGV a strategy fulfilling the DIY (Do It Yourself) industry needs. It is thanks to these connections that later on I have been offered by IKEA to join in order to take over the position of Category Leader Open and Close (functional fittings) for all Trading organizations (national purchasing offices). After a few years I moved to Sweden to take over the position of Global Category Leader for the whole IKEA (IKEA of Sweden and IKEA Components). In this position I have developed together with different colleagues and stakeholders from different organizations, long term Purchase Strategies, implementation of green and brown field projects, development of new ranges and platforms (standardization), driven sales procedures, contracts (included raw material clauses), products/production concepts for IKEA, enhanced the Quality agenda and worked actively to develop competence in the organization and in the supplier base. In 2021 I moved to the "other side" of IKEA joining the retail organization where I took over for the Category Facility Services, responsible for the >600 IKEA units around the globe
