If I stop for a second and think about it, I can see that all started at the end of elementary school. In Italy, towards the end of the last school year, all the kids took an orientation test. At the end of mine, I was told that, at most, I could attend only a vocational school. Nothing wrong of course but, I clearly remember my emotions on the way to come back home, it was not what I really wanted. I accepted my subconscious challenge! I've always been and still am an agonist! For the next five years I attended the accounting and graduated with a fair result. During my accounting studies, I fell in love with the law, it was a real passion. I enrolled at the university of law in Padua and in 1999 I graduated with a thesis on corporate criminal law. In 2001, and then in 2011, I took two master's degrees in Commercial law. In 2002 I founded my boutique law firm «Studio Legale DE VIDO» and from 2005 to 2015 I was the general counsel of a leading company that produces materials for construction and of another leading company that produces eyes ware. In 2017 another love at first sight: legal finance! I studied the tool, the magic toll of litigation funding, and in 2019 officially started another chapter of my professional life. I founded FiDeAL, the first Italian advisory company of litigation funding solutions. My vision and my goal are to allow everyone - individuals, companies of all sizes, and other entity - who has a meritorious claim to access justice, removing potential economic disparity between the parties. Finally, as I like to say, my heart, in addition to my wife Cristina, belongs to law and basketball
