This was developed as a prototype for GORI SpA. Starting from an existing product (Aqualog PQ EVO) I've added NB IoT functionalities based on modem ublox SARA N2 using protocol MQTT SN. Genius 3 Gas Volume Converter and Datalogger for customer 2I ReteGasFor this product I worked on the implementation of POT and SNAM OLD protocols based on UNI/TS 11629 technical specification,developing also Windows application used to configure and control the device. I then followed the SNAM protocol certification phase that was completed successfully in September 2023.Project Sat3lliteProject developed for french customer GRDF consisting in RTUs for remote communication of gas counters.For this project I worked mainly on the communication part (based on modem Telit ME310G1-WW supporting CatM1/NBIoT/2G) and setup of cloud architecture used for internal testings.For the first part main activity I did was the porting of cryptlib library (www.cryptlib.com) on Telit Appzone environment in order to support all the secure communications requirements of the product (CMP and TLS) and the development of all the communication protocol based on MQTT.For the second part I configured an AWS EC2 vm with mosquitto broker using server/client authentication with ECDSA keys based certificates and developed a web interface in php to allow remote monitoring of devices communications. On the same vm I also developed a simple ntp server as it was required for the product.

Project leader and firmware developer for DC Digital Drives Development.At Gefran I took in charge the responsibility of firmware development of both the Gefran branded line of DC Drives TPD32EV and of the alternative DC Drives lines developed for other customer brands. Together with firmware development duties I had also in charge the technical support for customer branded DC drives lines and the technical management of the whole project. In some circumstances I've been involved in technical support at customer sites located in Italy, South Africa and Vietnam. Besides my main activities related to DC Drives I worked also to some features of Gefran Industrial line of Inverters ADV200.

Consultant for Alcatel-Lucent

At Alcatel-Lucent I worked as software designer and developer for the 9500 MPR product, a microwave digital radio supporting both PDH and packet data (Ethernet) for migrating from TDM to IP. Being part of an international team in collaboration with China, India and US Alcatel-Lucent sites, my main activities were focused to the design and development of new product features and bugs fixing.

Software architect, designer and developer in various projects for WASS (Whitehead Alenia Sistemi Subacquei).Main activities in which I've been involved are:1. Preparation of technical documentazione (IRS, SRS) according to standards DoD-2167 and DoD-4982. Design and development of real time embedded software at various levels (from boards BSP/drivers to multi task applications). Main tools I've used for these activities have been Green Hills Multi 2000 and WindRiver Tornado as developing/debugging environment, ThreadX and VxWorks as real time operating systems and C/C++ as programming languages.3. Preparation of documentation for test procedures both for product qualification and production.4.
