Davide Gilli was born on March 1963 in Italy, holds a Doctor Degree in International Economics at University of Milan achieved in 1988; post graduate studies in Marketing Management and Accounting at "Rutgers University" New Jersey (USA) in 1989; IEP Insurance Executive Program – SDA Bocconi School of Management in 2010; over the years he attended numerous insurance training and management programs in Italy and abroad to enhance professional and managerial skills. Since October 2017 is "Partner Development Director" - Specialty Lines Division in Cattolica Assicurazioni.and since October 2018 CEO of Satec and Board member of some companies of the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group. In 2007 he joined XL Insurance (today XL Catlin) as Director of Sales and Marketing for Italy. In 1993 he spent 14 years to the broking industry in Willis Italia (today Willis Towers Watson) as Network Country ManagerIn 1989 he spent one year in New York working for a Real Estate and Investment company as assistant in evaluating investment opportunities, he then joined Aig Europe in Milan in the Credit and Forfeiting unit, then Royal International, becoming Property Underwriter. Since 2004 he is very active as speaker in Insurance and Risk Management conferences; developing various article on insurance related topics; he is teaching at the postgraduate Enterprise Risk Management Course of the University of Verona, at the course on economics of financial intermediation of the Cattolica University of Milan, at the Italian Broker Academy and at other training programs delivering class lectures for risk managers and brokers.In 2014 as Co-author he published a book on Risk ManagementHe has always been very interested in professional development and he is affiliated to SDA Bocconi; Member of Anra (Italian Risk Management Association) and Cineas (Consorzio Universitario Politecnico di Milano)
