Human body and biomechanics have always been a matter of curiosity to me: since I started my university career I always focused on related courses and, during the years, this curiosity grew to a passion. My bachelor’s degree gave me the knowledge of human body, but once I finished my bachelor exams I took a really long time, always self-sustained, to find a satisfying subject for my final dissertation. I remember I literally thought: “The university owns instruments that I will never see again: this is a one-shot opportunity”. My bachelor dissertation gave me an unexpected gratification, when it was accepted for a podium presentation at the XXV ISB congress, where I went to deliver the speech.As the end of the thesis period approached, I realized that I was actually in the place I wanted to be: in a motion analysis laboratory, working on sports biomechanics.
