About Davide Pezzotta

After my B.Sc. studies, I decided to continue my education experience with a M.Sc. degree.At the same time, I worked at the Mechanical laboratory of MEMTi as an Assistant researcher. Here, I participated at research projects, mainly performing analyses on engineering problems, using different simulation programs (NX Nastran, MATLAB, ANSYS Workbench, Autodesk Moldflow, LS-DYNA). In parallel, I assisted “Dynamics of machines and mechanical vibrations” lectures in the B.Sc. course, supporting the teacher in modal analysis laboratory.Once the M.Sc. education ended, I moved to Mikron SA where I initially worked in the R&D department on the Multi-X transfer machine, a new modular and reconfigurable platform whose goal was to simplify the engineering and logistics of the future customer projects. I entered in the final part of the concept phase designing mechanical components on the prototype machine. In the meantime, I updated the documentation of the transfer group assembly for the NRG machine at the supplier. I then moved in the application department working on the Multi-X, where I focused on specific equipment for customer projects. Furthermore, I gave technical support to the offer department for new machines, another task that greatly helped me grow professionally.I like sports and what you can learn from these for your daily life. Thanks to basketball and volleyball I learned to work with others and to take decisions very quickly for the advantage of the team. In my free time I also like testing myself with big puzzles, which helped me improve planning and organizational skills.
