My current research deals with the design of medical devices for low-resource settings. I'm currently investigating the essential criteria for the design of medical devices resilient to such settings, and working on a mHealth and additive manufacturing based solutions.I'm also interested in the intersection of bioethics with biomedical engineering, with a special focus on the challenges surrounding both regulatory frameworks and standards for medical devices and locations, and those concerning COVID-19.
