Currently, I’m a Senior Software Developer involved in full-stack development for radiology systems. My role includes maintenance of core unit of software, hardware integration and interfacing with processing libraries, as well as other libraries to integrate client requirements through different technologies. I develop using Agile methodology, ensuring iterative progress and adaptability. I am a proficient C++ developer with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving technical needs.

Currently Davide is active in SAR interferometric data processing, analysis and interpretation to retrieve deformation measures from spaceborne SAR.I work in particular in the frame of S1 PDGS project in the activities related:- to the design, develop and manage Sentinel-1 PDGS processing tools useful during the whole lifecycle of the ESA Sentinel-1 SAR satellite;

Research Assistant in the Image and Sound Processing Group(ISPG) at Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. A. Sarti.The research activities on audio processing are carried out at the premises of the Sound and Music Computing lab (Como Campus – Politecnico di Milano).Davide Riva has been involved in different research activities, in particular:1. Audio classification: The goal of this research line is to detect the onset of anomalous events (e.g. gunshots, screams, broken-glass etc.) in audio streams collected by environmental microphones;2. Speech recognition and emotion detection: In the context of speech analysis, we have investigated the problem of word spotting;3. Acoustic source localization and tracking: The information about the type of acoustic event can be augmented by the location of the source by space-time processing of signals collected with microphone array.Research contract on automatic classification and localization of acoustic events with Kee-square Inc. Main activities have been related to designing and projecting an automatic system for detecting and localizing anomalous audio events such as gunshots and screams. The application has been further developed by Kee Square Inc., a spin-off of Politecnico di Milano, by considering also the reverberant case. A first prototype of the system has been installed in some underground stations in Naples.Research contract on Template Matching in telephone conversations (details undisclosed for NDA clause). Main activities have been related to designing and projecting a preliminary word-spotting context dependent system in order to integrate the developed algorithm in a telephone intercepting system.Research contract on Speech Recognition system with Kee-square Inc. Main activities have been related to designing and projecting a preliminary ASR system in order to realize a speech-to-text context independent environment.
