I manage our retail, food, healthcare and energy verticals. I set the vision and strategy for those products, and I build, lead and coach the teams of journalists behind them.

Led the growth of Utility Dive, a digital publication covering the transformation of the US electric power sector, from relative unknown to industry-leading publication.Drove the overall direction and strategy of the publication, including developing the brand and voice, hiring and managing freelance reporters, made coverage decisions, ran the website and email newsletter, interviewed key sources and industry executives, and wrote analysis pieces on the most important developments shaping the future of the industry.

Wrote news and analysis about the biggest developments in multiple industries, including education, electric utilities, and food.

Co-founded multi-media storytelling organization. Applied for and received startup funding from Dartmouth College. Recruited and collaborated with authors and artists to establish an effective editing process. Hosted workshops and storytelling events. Published two collections of art and writing, with elegant and accessible design. Developed, worked on and produced 15+ short films. Winner of the 2010–2011 C.O.S.O. Award for Publication of the Year.

Organized, scheduled & executed 30+ film shoots on fixed deadlines. Simultaneously directed 30 actors, 25 crew members & ~100 extras. Trained an inexperienced crew how to do sound, lighting, set design, etc. Meticulously shot listed & storyboarded 60 page script. Edited rough & fine cuts.
