Questa porzione è individuata a partire dal fiume Seveso che, pur essendo strettamente legato alla genesi di Milano e della sua urbanizzazione regionale, è stato negato e occultato nel corso del Novecento (da cui il suo vendicarsi, sempre più spesso, con ricorrenti alluvioni).In questo territorio gli studenti saranno invitati a svolgere un esercizio di progetto che interesserà più scale muovendosi, a seconda degli ambiti di studio, dal territorio vasto agli spazi aperti interclusi, al tessuto edilizio intercettato, al singolo manufatto edilizio.

Cities have become larger and larger. Or better said, the territory has become increasingly urban. In such a disperse suburbanized territory, it is nevertheless possible to read a legitimate option of the inhabitants, who choose to abandon the traditional city, stunned at its thunderous failure. They become then somehow ex-citizens. Also the role of nature changes radically in this context of endless growth. Natural structures and pre-urban ecosystems do not build anymore the territory’s canvas, but become discontinuous or even objectual, and are usually threatened by occupation, overexploitation or in the best case musealization. We need new tools, able to describe and transform the production rather than the products, and the processes rather than the objects. We need new models, able to represent the different actors' visions and interests, and to manage their intense negotiations on this new urban arena.
