Coding is the art of translating a real-life problem into its own abstract solution. Since I was a kid I've been intrigued and gratified, in a way that's hard to put into words, by the mental process of solving problems; so it's only natural that I'm deeply fascinated by Computer Science in general and Coding in particular. The promise that Computer Science softly whispers to the ear is to find an abstract and general representation of virtually any aspect of the real world, answering just every possible need, no matter how specific: from the handyman that would like to have an intuitive and foolproof system for managing his work to the broke college student that would just love a cookbook able to take into account the content of his fridge and maybe even automatically update his grocery list accordingly; from a group of friends looking for a more practical way of sorting out the take-out order for the evening to the musician wishing to quikly share his musical ideas with the rest of his band. The very idea of finding just the right solution (one that's elegant, innovative and -ideally- simple to the point that it blurs into genius) is what keeps pushing me forward in my education, which started with a degree course in Computer Science, evolved in an ongoing degree course in Computer Engineering and continued with self-education and coding bootcamps, focusing on technologies such as PHP, Laravel, Javascript, SQL, HTML5, CSS3 and on Agile frameworks (SCRUM), and my appetite for knowledge is far from gone.Balancing my search for order and simplicity enters Music. I've been studying it since I was little and I still play both in a band and as a freelance sessionist. Contact with the audience and the amount of work needed to put a show in place is unexpectedly useful in training emotional intelligence, teamwork and workplace elasticity.
