I represented Hyundai Motor Company and its United States affiliates to all 50 state legislatures, governors, and the United States Congress. I was a part of the small government affairs team that represents Hyundai before key policymakers across the country and in the Congress, in addition to serving as liaison for trade groups our office utilized to expand our policy voice.My primary role was to serve Hyundai's United States affiliates in protecting corporate interests on a wide swath of issues that will affect manufacturing, sales, tax, research activity, and other business priorities. Among my responsibilities are briefings to the C-suite of Hyundai both in the United States at CEO-level and travel to South Korea for in-person briefings with senior executive management- including Vice Chairman level. I oversaw management of retained lobbying consultants in California as well as assisting in the tasking of federal consultants.Along with advocating before the Congress, I placed special emphasis on key states that impact Hyundai (California, Alabama, Michigan, Maryland, Washington, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts), including direct advocacy representing Hyundai in statehouses and governor's offices.

-Represent 12 automobile manufacturers in a national trade association before state legislative and policy-making bodies-Negotiate legislative and policy compromises and legislative language impacting corporate operations with various industry stakeholders including in-field lobbyists,attorneys, coalition partners, elected officials, and consultants. Where possible, craft amendments for review to mitigate harm to companies.-Represent the Association in negotiations with statewide auto dealer associations for changes to franchise statutes-Assist in formulating department budget.-Advocate on behalf of the Association at various legislative conferences such as NCSL, CSG & SGAC. -Oversee and direct contract-lobbyists who advocate on behalf of the association- including message development, legislative strategy, coalition building, and direct lobbying of elected officials.-Use a legislative tracking program to track and monitor state legislation in all 50 states-Registered lobbyist in multiple states- Familiar with lobby law compliance and reporting.- Edit and approve press releases and social media engagement to enhance lobbying efforts with various audiences-Assist in coordinating Lobby Days with corporate staff and organizing legislative meetings and events in state capitals

-Extensive statutory and case law research and memo-writing in preparing the court for pending cases and motions, including drafting of judicial opinions of the court.-Represent the Judge in interfacing with the Clerk of the Court, attorneys who are coming before the Court, as well as officials with the Maryland Judiciary.-Managing a busy civil and criminal docket load, including review and analysis of submitted motions to the court to preview issues of note for the Judge.-Experience with a wide range of issues from a judicial perspective, including banking law, tax law, and corporate law. -Drafting of bench memos on pending matters coming before the bench, in addition to assistance in drafting judicial opinions on complex civil matters. In particular, breaking down the dispositive facts and researching applicable case law and statutory law.

Assisted the General Felony Division with witness preparation, legal writing assignments, briefs for Assistant State's Attorneys, and research for attorneys preparing to prosecute cases.
