Field Researcher
I conducted an evaluation of an NGO's child sponsorship programme through 75 interviews and 120 questionnaires delivered to beneficiary families living inside Nairobi's informal settlements (Dandora and Korogocho). I analysed and used this data to write the placement-based final dissertation of my MSc programme and a report for the NGO. The organisation of placement in order to write the final dissertation was an optional part of the study programme. I decided to organise the placement by contacting the affiliated NGO 'Alice for Children by Twins International' and its local partners in Kenya: 'Grapesyard Organization' and 'Claires Community Centre'.
