- Design and development of the Watson Analytics Provisioning Service. The service provided a platform for the management of accounts, subscriptions, and subscribers purchased by customers. - The main technologies used consisted of Application Servers, Databases, Java, JPA, WAR, EAR, JSON, XML, JAX-RS.- Incorporated a global data center framework using Cloudant database for world-wide regional access.- Created a health check service to determine WA cluster server availability.- Incorporated Unit Testing into the build process to expedite the identification of regression issues.- Enhanced the CADS Web Service API (SOAP) to allow internal and external applications to submit requests to the underlying component services.- Designed and implemented new RESTful APIs for a Remote Scoring service used in conjunction with CADS.- Refined a migration service that cleansed and migrated existing data when new upgrades were installed to enhance the customers’ existing CMOR data model.- Designed and implemented Relational database interfaces using Java Persistence API (JPA).- Provided system and unit tests to exercise common software paths to check for regression issues.- Deployment Service (CADS). This service provides a platform for the management, security, and deployment of business data. - Responsible for major components of CADS including Content Repository, CMOR (Common Model Object Repository), Export/Import, Search, and Object Model Caching.- Architect and Project Lead (4 engineers, 1 quality assurance, 1 document writer) for a web based browser application that allowed querying, filtering, and reporting of business data.- Created and published software development best practices for participating engineering teams to observe.- Team Lead of multiple CADS projects.- Development improvement committee member that targeted product quality, test, build, and defect tracking.

- Designed and implemented a Field Test Application (FTA) tool, in Visual C++, used by Compaq, DELL, Gateway, and other OEMs to perform on site failure analysis on Western Digital Enterprise hard drives. Collected information was used for hard drive quality analysis.- Wrote software that automatically exported, transferred, and imported customer test results into an Oracle database at Western Digital.- Authored Failure Analysis Lab tools, that automated the test analysis of SCSI hard drives. The tools were created using Visual C++.- Improved the FACTS Web site. The web site was a client side entry and reporting tool for Western Digital’s Failure Analysis Service. FACTS was developed using Microsoft’s IIS and ASP.

Designed, coded, and tested software for the following areas: - Firmware: Programs written in C (BSO Tasking) and downloaded into EPROM, FLASH, or ROM. The software targets the Intel 80C196, Intel 80C51, and Atmel AT89CXXXX (8051 based) Micro-controller families. - Data Collection & Integration – Programs written in Visual Basic and Visual C++. Used for collecting information from barcode readers, printers, and RS232 devices. - Data Acquisition & Control – Programs written in Visual C/C++. The software targets Industrial PCs for the automation of industrial processes.Managed the enterprise SqlServer database used by Windows business applications.Maintained the enterprise network and the administration of Windows servers.
