Experienced Engineer in the fields of Machine Automation and Medical Devices with management and development competences.In my years in Medical Devices I have worked alongside many world-leader companies but also start-ups, helping them deliver innovative products and devices.I also spent many hours on the front line (i.e. Operating Rooms) shoulder to shoulder with many physicians and surgeons across Italy and Europe, supporting and guiding them in the use of these devices across Italy and Europe.More recently I joined the Machine Automation world because, you know, I live in the Packaging Valley and I always felt some sort of a calling inside from it. I work with a global supplier of packaging solutions with clients all over the world and help them develop the software that runs inside their machines but I also get my hands dirty inside electrical panels if it needs to be.And while I’m at home I like to play with electronic boards like Arduinos, Raspberry Pi’s and develop my own circuits and boards, from the PCB design to soldering components.Last but not least, and above all, I am an husband and a father (if you need references I’ll pass your requests to my wife or kids!)Want to know something more from my past?Well, I got you served…I played American Football in the major Italian championship from when I was 15 years old to 32 years old. In the early days I was a quarterback for the junior team and switched side of the ball when I transitioned to the senior team and became a defensive back. In my career I won one Italian Super Bowl with the Bergamo Lions and played in three Super Bowl in total.From age 8, I enjoyed and played in the outdoor as a Boy Scout. Collecting wood, lightning a fire, cooking over it and sleeping in a camping tend are skills that I made mine during these years. All I needed back then was a swiss knife and a lighter in my pocket and a backpack on my shoulder and I could have gone everywhere.When I was 17 years old, my parents sent me (literally) over the Atlantic Ocean to spent a year in a farm in the small city of Athens, Wisconsin (USA).No one speaking italian around, but cows, ATVs, snowmobiles and a lot of snow and the best hosting family were all I got over there.What a city boy like me could have wanted more, right?Turns out it was one of the greatest experience in my life!
