Design of electro-hydraulic circuits for customized manifolds, power units and test benches. Main tasks: - Support sales by collecting customer's specifications and develop technical proposal. - Define system architecture and select commercial components in compliance with regulations to optimize product’s performance, cost, delivery time, serviceability.- Carry out technical documentation including hydraulic schematics and user manuals. - Collaborate with mechanical and electrical designers and workshop during all product development phases. - Assist internal functional testing and on-site commissioning in person or by providing remote support if convenient.

As a member of the "off-highway hydraulics team", I contributed to the design improvement of different machines manufactured by the company, including: excavators, telehandlers, combine harvesters.Main activities: Definition of technical specifications to drive suppliers' prototyping; Design of calculation tools as well as experimental test procedures to compare alternative hydraulic system solutions.

Researcher at Maha Fluid Power Lab with focus on vibration damping of mobile electro-hydraulic machines through feedback control of proportional valves. Two applications taken as reference: wheel loader (industry sponsored research); lorry crane (NSF funded research). Systems analyses included numerical simulation. Design validation based on experiments run on specifically developed test equipment. At the time, Purdue University's program in engineering ranked among the best 10 in the country (U.S.News & World Report's graduate school rankings).

Winner of a research grant funded by Spinner 2013 (Emilia Romagna region) and sponsored by Walvoil S.p.A. for a Scholarship at Purdue University (Maha Fluid Power Lab).Study of proportional valves’ electromagnet through three-dimensional Finite Element Analysis (Cedrat Flux 3D v10 software). Derivation of an empirical hysteresis model.

Summer internship at Overmach SpA (machine tools trade).Hands-on workshop experience and mechanical parts drafting with CAD software.
