ResponsibilitiesMonthly closing activities – Prepare month end payroll journals, accruals for employee cost (commissions, overtime, vacation and other) and ensuring an accurate P&L and Balance sheetReconciling the Balance sheet accounts and performing variance analyticsPrepare for internal and external auditsReview payroll payment wires and perform verification of bank payments

- perform US GAAP general accounting activities on behalf of local GE Business- manage monthly payroll related accounting activities- prepare & review balance sheet account reconciliations- actively paricipate in quarterly balance sheet and P&L review, prepare variance- analysis and generate complex financial reports- maintain strong working relationship with the Local Business, Controllership & FP&A team- support external & internal auditors- provide training to new joiners- participate in accounting initiatives and projects for further improvement
