I promote Agile best-practices across the whole Arηs group (2500+ people): within the sub-department of DSU (Delivery Support Unit), I evaluate the maturity across teams, motivate their members, suggest corrections, propose vision for improvements, research new methods aimed at facilitating development, define and improve Arηs standards, best practices and tools in the area of Software Development and Project Management.Likewise, I support the Agile transformation of several customers: Clearstream Operations s.R.O. (Prague), Clearstream Banking S.A (Luxembourg), Clearstream GSS Lt (Cork, Ireland), Deutsche Börse Group (Frankfurt), Proximus (Bruxelles) and University of Nancy. The goal of these missions is promoting the adoption of Agile principles in order for teams to attain full autonomy, and fostering the Agile culture across the organisation, so that no one is left behind and full Agile transformation is achieved.I give regular speeches and trainings on various subjects both internally and at the customer's premises, including but not limited to: How to estimate, What's a Good Plan?, Testing Strategies, The Test Pyramid, The Scrum Practitioner, The Kanban Practitioner, The Scrum Developer, XP Practices, Technical Debt & Refactoring, Agile Gamification, The Lego Game, Team Pitfalls, Jira Administration & Usage.I administer several tools used across the group (eg: Jira Software and Jira Service Management), both in-premises and in the cloud.

Appointed firstly as Team Leader, then as Delivery Manager and finally as Director of various projects for the Publications Office of the European Union.As Project Director, I handled the budget-, plan- and quality-performance of an ecosystem of applications aimed at handling the creation and submission of standardised public procurement notices for publication in the Supplement of the Official Journal of the EU, and took care of the relationship with the customer on a daily basis.As Delivery Manager, I fostered the usage of Agile principles to facilitate the customer's involvement and understanding of the development process; I prepared fixed price and time&material proposals for new improvements; and I followed up the project quality plan in order to guarantee that the deliverables are consistent with the expected quality.As Team Leader, I facilitated the daily activities of the development team and organised their daily work on the basis of the team availability and sprints' priorities; I followed-up development and frequently participated in it; I prepared/evaluated technical analysis of bugfixing/new requests; and I evaluated each team's member on annual basis.

I was the responsible for the architecture and core development of several Schengen, non-Schengen and PSF projects, including:The SIB-SISII project (Schengen area) for the European Commission, where I participated to the core development process and main architectural changes for the layer that integrates the central Schengen Information System with the Member States that need it, in order to provide a european-wide monitoring of the criminal act.The SIB-VIS project (Schengen area) for the European Commission: I planned and implemented an ESB-based platform allowing the member states to connect to the VIS Central System in order to exchange VISA data in the Schengen area.The Renewal of Information System at the European Court of Justice: the main goal of the mission is to renew the information system used by the internal members of the Court of Justice, by applying the modern methodologies of analysis, architecture and development. I acted as functional and technical analyst for existing and starting-up projects.

I acted as:Integrator for new software solutions concerning the governance of the whole software lifecycle: modeling, requirements definition, analysis, design, implementation, test and deploy.Designer of the architecture implementing the bank's multichannel services, the main challenge being to provide a service layer capable to seamlessly support legacy software (based upon COBOL language) and modern applications (through REST web services and JMS channels, amongst all).Senior Developer of Umbrella, an internally developed product whose main goal is to allow the user drawing UML diagrams, and then automatically generating the B2B and B2C services to be run over the multichannel services (see point above).Internal Teacher for UML language and other technologies.

I participated to the development of various platforms for customers such as Alessi Italian Design Factory, Vodafone, Pirelli Re-Franchising, GlaxoSmithKline, and others.
