Throughout my career, I’ve excelled in roles demanding a combination of breadth and depth. As the COO of a startup, stock analyst, portfolio manager, multifamily real estate investor, and institutional equity salesperson I’ve demonstrated an ability to extract signal from noise and focus on what matters. These experiences honed my ability to prioritize, ramp up on new topics quickly, communicate complex topics in simple terms, and solve problems. I love learning, contributing to successful teams, and supporting the growth of others. I’m collaborative by nature and have enjoyed forging deep relationships with colleagues and clients throughout my career. After 25+ years in global equities, roughly half on the buy side and half on the sell side, I dove into commercial real estate. In 2019 I founded Cove Investments to acquire smaller apartment buildings where my partners and I can meaningfully improve operations through professional management. This was another opportunity to quickly become an expert in a new domain. I developed relationships with seasoned operators, earned a commercial real estate certificate through Cornell, and actively contributed to projects as a general partner.While continuing to run Cove, I embraced a new and exciting opportunity as Chief Operating Officer at Circa in April 2022. Circa was a mission-driven, proptech company seeking to revolutionize rent payments. I leveraged my experience in multifamily and launching Cove, but an executive role at a venture-funded startup provided ample opportunity for challenge and growth. Circa successfully exited in the spring of 2024 via a sale to Stake, a larger private company also in an adjacent area within proptech.On a personal note, I’m also an avid reader and podcast listener, and I love meeting and exploring new topics with new people.
