Product Manager on the GE Renewable Energy Services team, responsible for developing both products and services tied to blade asset management and energy production upgrades. Primary focus was on developing new software performance upgrades, most notably GE Wind's PowerUp*, to improve the efficiency of installed base wind turbines. Managed business cases.

In my 3rd rotation in the REDP, working on the GE Wind Field Services team in Sweetwater, TX. Working in the field to learn greater technical scope and to help develop new out of scope work for the Services group. Co-managing a pilot blade repair program to build greater in-house service capability.

Worked on the Product Service Engineering team for my 2nd rotation in the REDP. Led the 2010 New Site Initiative to help drive New Site Availability to 97% in 2010. Also led technical reviews during the installation and commissioning phase of new wind projects. Other responsibilities included remote troubleshooting and root cause analysis of field issues.

Member of the Renewable Energy Development Program (REDP) at GE Energy. My first rotation was in the Wind Field Services (WFS) Methods & Processes group. I helped innovate a cross-functional work instruction review process using change management principles to reduce overall cycle time. I also aided in the management of two service projects in the Wind.

I studied Mechanical Engineering for four years at RPI with a focus on Energy Systems/Renewable Energy and I also completed a strong Minor in Management. I performed two research projects on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells and on Concentrating Photovoltaics.Additionally, I was a Resident Assistant for upper classmen and I was an on-campus tutor for one year.

I primarily work on modeling power flows in order to identify parameters for generators, excitation systems, and governor/turbine systems. I also aid in the field-testing of power plants in order to collect the appropriate data to compare simulated and actual models. This work helps meet the NERC mandates for Power Plants in order to better understand and.

My responsibilities were to support the team by helping improve internal processes. My three main areas of focus were on RFI’s (Requests for Information), OTD (On-time Delivery) and on the NPS (Net Promoter Score) for the Thermal segment in GE-Energy. In all three areas, I was responsible for weekly and monthly reports, as well as database ownership.
