I research and write about AI and data economies.Before academia I worked as an entertainer, writing and performing in award-winning shows. Now I combine my love of the arts with my academic research, using it as a tool to disseminate AI information to non-academic audiences.In 2024 I completed the most important project of my career, authoring a book on AI for general audiences titled "Artificially Intelligent: The Very Human Story of AI". It is currently set to be published in 2025 (exact dates and more information to come).I also advocate for the rights of people with learning disabilities and differences. I am proud to serve Dyslexia Canada as the Senior Strategic Advisor for Nova Scotia. As a professional writer, and avid reader, who has both reading and writing Dysgraphia (dyslexia), I believe I am proof that every child with dyslexia can succeed if they are provided the educational rights and resources they deserve.
