I have been working professionally with PR and communications throughout my entire career, and I have always had a strong passion for the aesthetic and visual aspect of storytelling.Disappointed and unfulfilled with much of the visual material, companies put out there, I picked up a camera and went to work.

As Head of PR & Communications I was responsible for public relations, public affairs, and internal communication across all divisions within Mercedes-Benz Denmark. It has been a key focus point to move the brand towards new target groups and gain an eligible voice for the brand within culture and lifestyle-oriented media. I have worked strategically to achieve this through new initiatives within the company, where our award-nominated campaign, City Escapes, serves as a great example. Another example is our digital product launches and events, where I played a central part in the entire process from developing the concept, planning the events, and finally acting as the on-camera host.I have also played a big part in developing our social media presence, and it has been a personal goal of mine to integrate our communication across channels such as PR, social, and marketing.Throughout my years with Mercedes-Benz, I acted as a key advisor to our Board of Directors and was a part of our Executive Committee. During my time with the company we have a proven track record of share-of-voice performance and a 36 % increase in sales (no. of units sold).

In my position as Public Relations Manager I worked strategically with Public Relations to support the business through an increased visibility in the media and to drive Telias image towards the desired goal. I made sure to maintain a strong focus on KPIs in order to be able to develop and link PR activities to the business. In 2016, Danish business journalists voted Telia 7th best in PR through Aalunds yearly analysis, which is based on eight parametres such as general openness, response time, ability to communicate clearly, and understanding of media.As the telco business is often subject to media attention, I have gained valuable experience in interacting with journalists and managing crisis situations. This means that I am also comfortable with sudden issues that needs to be handled swiftly and can navigate through unpredictable work tasks.I functioned as one of the main spokespersons for Telia, and thereby worked closely with a broad range of colleagues in order to gain expert knowledge on various subjects. This takes a sharp ear for the right arguments and facts along with great people skills.

As a Communications Advisor in Telia my main tasks were related to Public Relations. This included identifying positive stories within the company, producing and distributing press releases, handling questions from journalists, and issues management. I was also deeply involved with social media activities, as I contributed to the social strategy, produced posts for our blog, and managed much of the contact with external agencies.

As an intern at Telia I was able to put the theoretical frameworks from my bachelor degree in communications and economics into practice. I was fortunate enough to be involved with a broad range of communication tasks and was given a great deal of responsibility from day one. My daily tasks included among others internal and external communication, strategy development, project management, and visual productions such as films and pictures.
