I exited Complete Nutrition when Nelbud was sold by the PE owners to a new strategic buyer. I agreed to stay with Nelbud for a year during the transition.

Responsible for all forecasting & budgeting including weekly cash flow forecasting and reporting and monthly reporting to PE company. Oversaw integration of two acquired entities and new financial accounting system implementation to handle larger business. Point person working with 3rd party auditors and income tax CPA firm. Standardized close process resulting in more timely and accurate reporting. Worked with operations to provide better reporting to help assist in decision making.

Responsible for overall operation of $200M grocery chain wtih over 1,500 teammates. Overall responsibilities include: inventory management; gross margin results; banking and vendor relationships, financial planning, financial analysis. Key accomplishemnts include improved EBITDA by renegotiating primary wholesale contract; reduced labor expense by 20bp; and implemented physical shrink control tools. Hired Controller to oversee GL, AP, AR, FA, and Financial close and financial reporting. Implemented consolidation accounting with 10+ "S" corporations. Responsible for all aspects of budget / forecast. Position on Board from 2005 through 2007.
