As digital media specialist it is my responsibility to oversee and advance the college's overall social media strategy by coordinating with key partners in the Offices of Admission and Advancement as well as the Department of Athletics, while also providing education and guidance to the over 50 related departmental and student life accounts.- Create and execute original social campaigns. Write copy, create visual assets, and work closely with our photo/video department to coordinate photography and video production for social platforms.- Working with Bates' director of digital communications, determine the strategy and execute paid social media campaigns in support of the college's key communications priorities.- Work with our editorial partners in the Communications Office to elevate our storytelling on social.- Coordinate projects with BCO's design department to make impactful social-first visual assets.- In coordination with the Chief Communications Officer, work closely with the President on her social media presence and strategy for sharing communications regarding key college priorities.
