My litigation practice most recently focused on representing institutional investors in securities fraud matters with an emphasis on the identification and analysis of emerging cases. By combining legal experience with a rich understanding of financial markets, I help formulate nuanced recommendations on developing matters.Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, I co-authored "American Genius: Nineteenth Century Bank Locks and Time Locks" with my father, published by Quantuck Lane Press in 2006. All royalties from this project benefit the General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen.During this time I concurrently pursued meritorious matters on a pro bono basis, including corporate governance matters for charitable and educational institutions, as well as immigration and naturalization appeals for members of the arts community and their family members from nations with oppressive governments. My first position after graduating from the Law School at University of Chicago was as an associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP representing healthcare and nonprofit organizations. Before law school, among other things, I served in the U.S. Army for four years as a Cryptologic Linguist, graduating from the Defense Language Institute and serving in tactical intelligence units in Korea and Colorado.
