Responsible for the overall management of the cable/telecom billing software used for both commercial and residential billing. Routine activities include product and pricing configuration, new promotion setup and invoice setup, workflow changes to improve order taking efficiency; Prepare, execute and validate customer invoicing for 28 monthly billing cycles along with account treatment processing.Managed a $7.9 million annual software budget, identified opportunities for cost optimization and service improvement.Led a multi-million dollar billing system upgrade, collaborated with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.Successfully deployed a new SIP phone system into the billing system, working closely with engineering and software development teams to meet tight deadlines.Implemented Jira and Confluence Cloud for project management and requirements gathering, which improved team efficiency and communication, while moving to a cheaper licensing model saving over $100k per year.Analyzed complex technical issues, developed solutions, and minimized business impact, ensuring high availability of critical systems.Created SQL queries for large-scale reporting and data analysis to support business decision-making.

Managed the deployment of a large, industry first, Addressable Advertising monitoring system. This system provided DIRECTV the capability to deliver advertising tailored to each individual household, and Kantar served as the check and balance of advertising currency for DIRECTV's service. This was achieved working directly with our United Kingdom office in London that developed the software for a successful project handoff and launch. Responsible for negotiating Kantar’s service level agreement (SLA) (operations sections) with clients such as DIRECTV and Nielsen.Responsible for insuring appropriate unlimited license agreements for Oracle applications. This resulted in a 5 year budget savings of $7 million.Deployed Full Exadata using Oracle’s on-site “infrastructure as a service” (IaaS). By combining this with the ULA it resulted in a net savings of an additional $1 million over 3 years.Developed and managed a physical IT and data growth from 3 paid services with 2 Terabytes of data storage and 5 clients to over 8 services totaling more than 150TB of data storage and over 100 clients in a 6 year period without the need for additional staff.Worked closely with data vendors including DIRECTV, Experian and American Express, using their customer account numbers. Responsible for creating a private PGP key for secure data transfers and protecting customer integrity. Recruited, managed, supported and conducted reviews for 4 team members who were responsible for client deliverables and data management tasks on a 24/7 operations service level with zero turnover over the course of my tenure.Managed data center transition to VMWare resulting in a cost savings of over $250,000 a year in hardware costs by allowing multiple virtual machines being deployed on a single server and allowing us to scale our operation to scale up or down with 24 hour notice.Jointly responsible with the Network Engineer to ensure SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance was met.

Migrated the end-to-end extract, transform and load (ETL) operations from the Toledo and London office to our West Chester, PA office and subsequent management of application maintenance, administration and day-to-day operations. Resulted in a saving of +/- $1 million per year in data center and personnel costs, the new location was better suited to meet the daily needs of US-based clients and internal staff.Recruited, managed, supported and conducted reviews for 2 analyst team members.In addition to the 6 Oracle database applications I was responsible for, I also assumed additional responsibilities to oversee 3 new Oracle database applications.Assisted manager in the evaluation and purchasing of new hardware.

Wrote software to validate data integrity, programmed and produced reports for client analysis using software within a Linux environment.Responsible for producing Quantum data tables, Quanvert databases and other output formats as required by the client.Delivered excellent client service, by meeting or exceeding all required timelines for report, deliverable with 99.5% accuracy or better.
