From beginnings in R&D (communications and electricity), my creative energies now focus on film-making. Following several years of part-time videography, and successful recent dabblings in drama direction and filming, I am now in a regrouping (retreat, reassess and reinforce) phase, getting my head more thoroughly around the intriguing world of positively-channeled mischief that is film production. The camera never lies...Along with learning about screenwriting, directing, camerawork and editing, I am developing an interest in self and project management (methods and tools), as well as relevant technical areas such as programming (python, e.g. for production process automation), information gathering & datamining (e.g. for background research and story development) and of course technical aspects of filming.
