I joined the association to build and execute a sustainable and scalable digital transformation strategy. Liaison to Executive Team and Board of Directors in identification and prioritization of technology initiatives. Restructured and managed 18-member staff and oversaw multimillion-dollar annual technology expense budget and a capital budget in procurement, development, maintenance, and support of IT systems. Identified opportunities to improve the member experience across the digital footprint through technology standardization across nationwide chapters, improvement of data resources, and low cost and robust digital marketing. As Director of Information Technology, led 14-member team in development of an on-premise data center and developed foundational plan for data transformation by modernizing systems and capabilities and advancing member facing systems.Achievements Include• Launched new Organizational Performance department to centralize project management, operational policies and procedures, and drive innovation. • Developed a data repository in SQL to collect and uncover business trends and opportunities. Created quarterly dashboards to measure organizational health, a robust annual dashboard with visualizations to showcase trends, and monthly dashboards for the leadership team to review business trends. • Modernized and improved user experience of the APTA.ORG website and microsites by leading a total website redevelopment, including the selection of new CMS, site hosting, and infrastructure.• Led implementation of a cloud-based CRM, providing flexibility to test new membership models and additional initiatives.• Built network infrastructure for the new APTA headquarters which merged 3 buildings into 1 location. • Advanced endpoint security by recommending and overseeing the implementation of Trustwave MDR service, Cisco ISE and Umbrella and encrypting all devices.

During my time with ERC, I served as a member of the leadership team driving technology strategy to support the business and optimize the member experience. Transitioned business mindset from IT as a support service to an integral piece to business success. Led 6 professionals in procurement, development, deployment, maintenance, and support of IT systems. Defined and evolved technology policies including security, data retention, and PCI compliance. Advanced data collection workflow to improve data integrity and quality. Planned, developed and deployed new technology platforms and telecommunications infrastructure. Promoted through multiple roles during tenure. Served as integral contributor in development of the association’s 1st data transfer platform to allow companies to do business between each other. Assumed oversight of network operations and ultimately expanded leadership to website, database and systems management. Additional work titles included: Assistant Director, Technology & Member Relations; Manager, Technology & Member Relations; Manager, Technology & Internal Services; Manager, Systems Planning; Manager, Consulting & Training; Trainer & Implementation Counselor; Technology Administrative Coordinator.Achievements Include• Captured new yearly revenue through design of a SaaS-based Member Directory/Community platform that integrated with the CRM and Association Management System. • Transitioned association from report-driven to data visualization decision-making processes through incorporation of a Business Analytics program utilizing Tableau Server.• Led conversion to a new LMS and its integration with the Association Management System and eCommerce platform. • Reduced costs and improved reliability by migrating a 14-server premise-based server infrastructure to a virtual cloud environment.• Developed a technical training program for association members on optimal utilization of the relocation technology platform.
