The Sunset Park 5th Avenue Business Improvement District is a non-profit, community service organization dedicated to economic development and the quality of life on Brooklyn's Fifth Avenue between 39th and 64th Streets. Our BID serves property owners, merchants, residents, visitors and shoppers on the Avenue and operates in close partnership with the New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS). We produce large-scale community events, offer direct constituent services to small businesses and property owners, and we provide supplemental sanitation services. The Sunset Park BID advocates for regulatory reform, financial relief, and direct aid to support small businesses.

Secured maximum allowable matching funds disbursement for campaign by properly registering all donations in CFB-supplied online financial database and creating detailed filing statements and campaign audit responses. With a worthy candidate, Carlos Menchaca, passionate volunteers, and a fantastic campaign management team we secured a rare and decisive Democratic primary win over a long-entrenched incumbent ensuring Mr. Menchaca's election to NY City Council in November 2013.
