I am a computer scientist and a designer/maker with a wide range of research interests: formal modeling, IOT and cyber physical systems, computational design, parallel programming, and biomimicry. I am currently working on a research project for creating humane smart objects. I am a firm believer in an embodied approach to education, and in recent years I am actively transferring ideas from the world of design teaching/thinking to the teaching of abstract mathematical and computer science topics, and vice versa.
