I currently support the expansion of infrastructure for a non-profit organization I helped start 6 years ago, Solo Parent. (https://soloparent.org/) Solo Parent helps single parents raise healthy kids. We create support groups online, in local churches and in the US military. We produce weekly podcasts, daily devotions and resources to help single parents. I also currently support several private equity firms as they expand into new markets or acquire other businesses. I provide strategic guidance, operational support, review of best practices as they drive growth.I am open to discussion to support other For-Profit or Non-Profit Firms.

I was blessed to support the start of Solo Parent, a non-profit, in 2018 while still working at Fortna. I am forever thankful to Fortna for allowing me to volunteer at Solo while supporting clients for several years! As of Jan 2024, I am the person developing relationships at Solo Parent as our programs and support expands. If you have supported Solo Parent during this growth, thank you! Beyond individual groups, we have been adopted and implemented into the Unites States Army as well as several Fortune 1000 corporations in order to support their families and retain employees/ soldiers. Solo Parent offers programs and services specifically designed to empower single parents to raise healthy children. We provide virtual and in-person support groups to foster authentic connections between single parents, allowing them to share their experiences, strengths, and challenges. In addition, we provide weekly podcasts, daily meditations, and educational resources to equip single parents with the necessary tools to succeed in both their personal and professional lives.According to US Census statistics 34% of households in the U.S. have children under 18 living with just one parent. These dedicated individuals juggle demanding careers and family responsibilities, often with limited resources and support networks. Behind these 34% statics, 63% of suicide, 75% of chemical dependency, 85% runaways can be linked directly according to US Census to these single parent families. Every one of those statistics represents a person and a family. These are the people at our work, our gym, and our church. Solo Parent goal is to help others reverse these statics through education programs. Our programs support families. Please understand that being a single parent is not an issue but having the support to create a healthier self, child, and environment is the goal.
