David Day is a Founding Director and Chairman of the Board of this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on national security and economic security issues along with the development of holistic, comprehensive risk assessments and solutions. While the organization is based in Hawaii, it includes a global multidisciplinary team of advisors, experts and consultants. In recent months, David has provided a number of speeches, programs, and detailed briefings on malign, non-kinetic and economic warfare, China’s Belt & Road Initiative, the new U.S. Indo-Pacific Strategy, current U.S. Trade Policy, counterterrorism, and countering radical Islam in Southeast Asia. These briefings have been before Asian Cabinet-level Ministers, think tanks, diplomatic teams at U.S. and Asian Embassies and Consulates along with private sector business groups and conferences in both the U.S and Asia.Operating at the intersection of nation and economic security, the focus of the Foundation is to provide capacity-building programs & trainings, in addition to international and domestic project risk assessment and management to the private sector (multinationals and SMEs) along with government entities, and NGOs. In addition, the Foundation provides assistance in internal organizational assessments, and performance enhancement.

David Day is one of the Indo-Pacific Region’s leading international lawyers. He is based out of Hawaii with extensive experience in Southeast Asia & particularly in the Philippines. Mr. Day is the former Chairman of the American Bar Association’s Belt & Road Task Force which deals with issues that run the gamut from international business & trade, needed hard and digital infrastructure development of smaller & poorer nations, geopolitics, corruption, espionage and national security.David is also the current Chairman of the Trade Policy Committee of the U.S. National Association of District Export Councils and a member of its National Board of Directors, representing the entire Pacific Region and the Southwestern U.S. He is a Director of the Hawaii Pacific Export Council (and its former Vice-Chair). Mr. Day is currently involved in projects in Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, as well as Korea. He has served as an Arbitrator and an International Mediator in commercial disputes throughout the Indo-Pacific Region.As a private citizen, Mr. Day was instrumental in the brokering of the first public discussions on the subject of economic normalization in early 1997 which led to the initial draft of the Bilateral Trade Agreement between the U.S. and Vietnam. Mr. Day is also an experienced executive educator and has taught MBA and Executive MBA programs in International Trade and Cross-Border Negotiations at business schools in the U.S. as well as in Vietnam and Korea. He has also been a Visiting Professor at the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies in Waikiki in negotiations and anti-corruption.In addition to active legal practice, David is also the Chairman of the Board of the Global Risk Mitigation Foundation (GRM). https://www.globalriskmitigation.org/ The Foundation is engaged in the comprehensive analysis, mitigation, and management of risk for the private sector, NGO’s, and government organizations.
