Working at a movie theater was a new experience for me, but an enjoyable one. Working about fifteen hours a week and collaborating with +20 coworkers a shift. My responsibilities revolved around customer service and cash handling constantly at a theater that could face anywhere from 400-1,200 customers a day. Along with the maintenance of the theater itself, like for example cleaning an auditorium after a showing.During my time at Harkins, I have reinforced my ability to be a team player and to step up as a team leader.

My responsibilities ranged from communicating with contractors and facilitating their experience by making sure they received proper service. The store recorded large values of DIY customers, so it was essential for me to understand the products to well inform customers. Another responsibility I had was to receive the weekly shipment which consisted of +720 gallons of paint and various supplies. I was also a key holder which meant that I followed appropriate closing procedures and would drive to the bank after closing to make the store's daily deposit.
