One of the founding members of the ZapBatt team, with big goals of making rapid charging devices a reality for a variety of consumer and industrial products that can have an impact on our day to day lives. Leading the engineering effort, with a focus on the mechanical construction, electromechanical interfacing, electrical systems functionality, hardware prototype construction and testing, and soon to be leading the team into the certification and production phase of the companies first product release.

Building on my knowledge and experiences working in the Operations and Maintenance division of the company, I was asked to join the global division of the company to support and work under the Global Manager of Installation, Commissioning, and Service. My main focus in this role was data collection of all equipment used in our facilities then setting up, customizing, implementing and administrating the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), called eMaint, then providing training and on-going support of the system to the end users. eMaint is a cloud-based program that we used for asset and equipment management of Anaergia’s large-scale organics extraction and utilization facilities.

After the departure of Anaergia’s Director of Operations for the Western US, I filled the role in overseeing day-to-day activities of four of the company's operating biogas and natural gas utilization facilities.Continued to support and run our pilot OREX Test Press program.

Worked on various wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) facility upgrade projects and solid waste organics utilization facilities that were in their beginning design stages. Prepaired and revised process and instrumentation drawing (P&ID) packets, equipment lists and block flow diagrams, working with vendors for equipment selection and procurement.Responsible for our pilot small-scale demo organics extrusion (OREX Test Press) program, traveling to potential client facilities throughout North America with our OREX Test Press equipment to run trials/demonstrations using the client's waste streams with some projects including conducting a full waste characterization.Supported the R&D group with the final stages of construction/commissioning and operations of the company's PyroBiomethane Demonstration Facility.

Worked under the Director of Operations to support four of the company's active projects in the U.S., two of which were biogas fuel cell projects, one manure biogas upgrading to pipeline injection, and one hotel natural gas Co-Gen project.

As an Engineering Intern in the Hardware Development Department at St. Judes' Cardiac Rhythm Management Division, many of my projects were focused on a combination of designing and testing of both tools and assemblies used for the manufacturing and evaluation of Pacemakers and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators.
