During the course of my 9-month internship at Chambers Communications, I was introduced to an in-depth, hands-on look into the Account Executive sales process by shadowing on cold calls, first fact-finding appointments, client lunch appointments and even the "closing" appointments. I attended the weekly sales meetings, too. This taught me a great deal of how the sales process works.I also worked Chambers Communications' marketing/promotional booth at key networking functions. Back then Chambers Communications also held a Duck Football fan show after Monday Night Football, where Duck Fans would meet at the Steelhead Brewery to be crowd members in a live weekend Duck game recap and also look at the current week's match-up ahead. I engaged the crowd during commercial breaks, fielded questions and passed out promotional prizes.
