Creator of a new team of data scientists, software developers and innovators tasked with seizing the opportunities of digital innovation in China.Key achievements:- Created a new team from zero, hired talented colleagues, sourced a budget and created a portfolio of work covering research, development, innovation and new business;- Kick started hands-on research in quantum machine learning;- Developed EDF's first mobile payment system with AliPay and its first miniprogramme for WeChat;- Built numerous artificial intelligence tools, mainly focused on computer vision for automated inspection, but also explored emerging techniques;- Established a partnership with State Grid on 5G;- Launched the first edition of EDF Pulse Awards China, a major startup scouting competition;- Guided EDF's investment into a chinese venture capital fund;As a side project, I also piloted EDF China's €1m project to relocate to a new headquarters in Beijing.
