During my time as a student at Sanford Brown, was employed as the Design Assistant and Project Manager for Sterling Ridge Properties. Sterling Ridge is a custom home builder based in Tampa, FL. My time with Sterling Ridge has allowed me to gain exposure to several different facets of the construction industry. As an asset to Sterling ridge I was responsible for preparing design drawings, creating and processing selection and change orders, scheduling and managing contractors, and maintaining marketing and social media accounts including the redesign of their company brand and logo.Responsibilities• Ordering and selecting textiles, furniture, finishes, and materials.• Measuring, scheduling, and overseeing tile, flooring, paint, and drywall installations.• Developing and processing selection sheets and change orders.• Marketing: Coordinate maintenance of social media accounts, company logo re-design. • Punch Lists: Maintain formal lists and documentation, update homeowners weekly.• Design: Create tile selection drawings; perspective views for homeowners, and construction documents for installers.
