Serving as a Senior Delivery PjM for Underpinning Infrastructure Program in managing enterprise infrastructure projects for 360,000 users in VA. The PjM role delivers Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) products to the VA enterprise. Many of my projects have been Microsoft products due to my Microsoft background. All project deliveries I have worked on have been enterprise class, typically touching all 360,000 users in the Department. When assigned as PjM I performed any remaining project analysis, assembled a team of subject-matter-experts (SMEs) and various stake holders and held kickoff meetings. Developed the project Charters, Scope, Scope Diagrams, Business and Functional Requirements, creating Make/Buy Decision Analysis if required. Created any Acquisitions, Procurements, Statements-of-Work (SOWs) as required followed by Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Schedule. Assembled an IPT of stakeholders or leveraged the programs IPT and managed all project meetings, driving agenda topics forward to meet project deliverables while identifying, and documenting all risks and issues. Enterprise System Architect, Subject Matter Expert and Technical LeadMicrosoft Windows Rights Management Server (RMS). Designed, and deployed a RMS system supporting 305,000 clients for VA which grew into a $5.6M dollar project enabling VA users to encrypt email and MS Office documents. Met project requirements for fault tolerant system architectural designs and system load analysis. Developed procurement requirements and support documentation. Built and lead a high-performance team to deploy, and support RMS. Established a deployment methodology using Systems Management Server (SMS) and Group Policy (GPO).Email Archiving System. Architected a national email archive to resolve storage and litigation issues for VA. Developed procurement requirements and support documentation. Designed, and deployed, the Email Archive system for VA supporting 20,000 users housing 20TB of storage. Built and Lead a highly performance team to build, deploy, and support the Email Archive Solution. Windows XP testing for VA. Wrote the Business Case and received approval for the deployment of Microsoft Windows XP to 250,000+ Desktops February 2003. Developed, documented, and tested security procedures for Windows XP.

Supported 273 clustered Microsoft Exchange 5.5 servers with 250,000+ mailboxes and an enterprise LAN/WAN environment for the Department of Veterans Affairs from Albany, NY. Administered and supported the national Active Directory Forest, Tree, Sub domain infrastructure. Administered and maintained enterprise antivirus configurations using Trend Micro and McAfee. Built and maintained national file servers and clustered Exchange servers with SAN disk subsystems. Provided solutions for Veritas Backup Exec on Exchange 5.5 and application servers. Resolved issues of Enterprise level WINS & DNS and WinNT & 2000. Engineered the solution for safely eliminating the FunLove virus that infiltrated all servers in VA. Designed and implemented a nationwide Exchange 5.5 software upgrade rollout.
