Nano Inc creates nano based products for the restaurant/foodservice industry, creating products that can change entire industries. For example, we can completely eliminate fruit flies, gnats, etc. from an entire restaurant by making them unable to detect the presence of any type of food. Another nano product that completely changes the kitchen exhaust cleaning industry, just by spraying filters once a night. Cleans the entire system to the bare metal, without even touching the hood. Our systems and products reinvent how things are done.

Chemical technologies and manufacturing, enzyme and biological manufacturing

First company to create biological/enzymatic cleaners, a staple today in the foodservice industry. Ecolab, the cleaning chemical giant of the foodservice industry, launched their first biological cleaner Wash 'n Walk; twelve years after Microbes launched theirs. Many small companies came along in those first years, trying to mimic what we were making and doing. The products were untouchable as far as performance was concerned.We also made great advancements in bioremediation, where living bacteria were used to eliminate petroleum type contamination in both soil and water.

Top RX was a small, generic pharmaceutical distributor that sold to pharmacies by phone, across the country. Joined the company in late 1992 in a sales position. Growth in this industry was difficult outside of acquisition. The products being sold are generic pharmaceuticals. Each company sold the exact same products in the exact same manner. After several months, the owner and I discussed how things could be done differently. It is difficult to grow when each competitor has only price and service to give. The owner and I became equal partners. Prior to this, Top RX sold approximately $3.5 million annually, with eight sales reps. In less than a year, the company had close to 40 sales reps and did close to $28 million in sales in 1995.

Started off as a straight commission, territory sales rep for Standard Coffee; a division of Wm. B. Reily. Working the Gulf Coast, within a month or so I began to set sales records. A few months later, the company moved me to New Orleans, where corporate was located. In short, I was moved into a sales manager position for both Standard Coffee as well as the routes for Wm. B. Reily and Luzianne Tea. The New Orleans market, even though it was the location of corporate; had not been higher in sales than 10th for over a year. By the second month, our sales group was either 1st or 2nd in the nation for the entire time I managed that sales market.
