You have to enjoy what you do and I have to say that I love working in recruitment. The challenge in 'getting it right' is rewarding when you see it work out for both your client and their new employee. After working in Sydney, graduating from HR and relocating to the Gold Coast in 2001, it took me almost a year of hard knock-backs to finally get out of where I was and into the recruitment/HR space. A special thanks goes out to a very kind person that decided to back me and give me a 'go'​ as they say. One thing that I learned during that year of looking was to never forget that I was a job seeker and it's something that I bring to our agency (New Point Recruitment) today. Without candidates we just have a lot of job orders to fill.At New Point Recruitment our focus is to help local businesses connect with great people.
