At eBay, I lead a team that is pioneering new algorithmic feed experiences in ecommerce for discovering new items that you didn't know you wanted but love.We just launched our initial product called Explore -- a new destination on eBay for shoppers to browse unlimited, realtime personalized recommendations based on who you are and what you like.As with true 0-1 products, we are working day and night to iterate towards product market fit focusing first on fashion with plans to expand to other verticals like Home and Garden, Collectibles, and more.

David joined the Twitter Shopping team as the first I.C. PM during its infancy when it had zero merchants and zero shoppers. By the end of his tenure, Twitter Shopping had ~10,000 merchants and 1 million+ Monthly Active Shoppers.To serve Twitter's revenue goals, David primarily focused on building new, monetizable shopping experiences on Twitter, such as Twitter Shops, Shoppable Profiles, Product Drops, Shopping Conversations, and a dedicated tab for all things shopping-related on Twitter~In parallel, David was also responsible for bootstrapping the team's merchant growth strategy by manually recruiting some of Twitter Shopping's earliest and most leaned-in merchants that ranged from SMBs like Hero Cosmetics and Italic to household names like the NFL and Charlie Puth via Warner Music. To hit breakout scale, he led and shipped a novel way for new merchants to setup their shop directly in the Twitter App, accounting for 40% of existing merchants onboarded today.(Accelerated promotion to PM 2)

Growth PM on Twitter’s User Acquisition team focused on significantly improving logged-out user conversion funnel.Owned product vision, roadmap, and execution for Account Access team whose goal was to create safe, easy ways for logged-out visitors to login + signup for Twitter, ultimately resulting in +XX million DAU to-date.Quickly executed on the roadmap for several Top of Funnel experiments that improve Twitter’s virality across the internet, resulting in +1.5 million more users sharing Tweets outside of Twitter daily.(Accelerated promotion from APM to PM 1)

Led research sprints that identified opportunities for improving usability of touchscreen interfaces on Chromebooks.

On Google Cloud's IoT team, I built and shipped a visualization tool that allows customers to easily diagnose problems and monitor activity among entire fleets of IoT devices. Hacked together a way for mocking device telemetry data to the Google Cloud IoT platform without the need for physical devices.

Built NASA's first campus-wide bike tracking program -- leveraging Bluetooth Beacons that we painstakingly glued to the seats of +500 bikes. Whenever a bike is parked at a building at Johnson Space Center, its beacon communicates its status to nearby tiny computers which then update a website that NASA employees can check for nearby bike availability. Awarded $10,000 grant by NASA JSC director Ellen Ochoa.Built jscmap.com, a progressive web application that NASA personnel use to navigate throughout Johnson Space Center everyday.Organized a series of intern lectures that featured notable NASA astronauts, flight directors, and distinguished scientists.
