I am an active and engaging conductor, clinician and adjudicator of choral and choral-orchestral groups of all ages, with numerous recent professional conducting engagements, choral workshops, and adjudications throughout the Northeast, as well as in Virginia, North Carolina, Michigan, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Utah and Alaska. In the fall of 2014, I was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame as the “Educator of Note,” and am the winner of the 2016-17 American Prize in Conducting in both the community chorus and college & university categories.I have served as a guest artist on the conducting faculty of the New York State Summer School of the Arts (NYSSSA) School of Choral Studies in Fredonia, NY since the summer of 2014. For the seven summers before that, I served as Coordinator of the Vocal Artists program at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan, where he was conductor and music director of the World Youth Honors Choir and Festival Choir & Orchestra. I currently serve as Eastern Division vice president of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). Interested in imaginative collaborations, compelling conducting opportunities, and, generally, in making music with great musicians!
