I joined the MJW Media team as a partner to help manage and operate the company, open a new SEO division, and scale the business. At MJW Media we offer digital marketing services and have pioneered a new hyperlocal SEO platform called SwarmSEO.

- Opened a new Digital Sales Department, where none existed before.- Dramatically increased department sales volume in the first 12 months. Monthly average gross revenue of $150k increased to $500k, with peaks in the mid-$800k range. - In charge of developing, maintaining, optimizing, and growing search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns for key products. Responsible for $2.5 million in budgets, with high stakes, in a fast-moving high-pressure environment.- Oversaw an increase in monthly organic web traffic from 65k to ~300k. - Managed and implemented best practices and industry standards for key forward-facing websites that were responsible for new customer acquisition.- Maintained intranet portal of my design used to process ecommerce leads.- Deployed email marketing campaign with performance metrics well above industry standards in open rate, clickthrough rate, and point-of-sale conversion. - Expanded point-of-sale departments from only phone to: phone, live chat, and e-commerce. This involved new technology management, development, and training.- Developed novel strategy to expand national website by generating 24k highly-relevant hyper-local web pages (launched with corresponding marketing campaigns). - Produced policy and workflows; would train fellow directors, managers, or entire classes of employees when necessary.- Coordinated several new product and promotion launches: managed agencies and in-house staff, developed workflows, digital assets, as well as online marketing plans.- Developed analytics profiles, views, integration methods, and was responsible for analysis and key decision making.- Participated in the design of reports used to gain actionable insight into key segments.- Maintained professional relationships with outside agencies, parent company contacts and executives, and negotiated on behalf of our organization.

- Created, implemented, and managed marketing plan and all advertising campaigns.- Developed, designed and maintained all company websites.- Tracked, analyzed, and developed key performance indicators and other segment metrics.- Optimized marketing to facilitate growth and control customer acquisition costs.- Planed sales strategies for new promotions and product launches.- Managed and trained all sales, customer service personnel, and agency managers.

This was a moonlighting project used to acquire side-work. Any moonlighting I do now is done through a sole proprietorship on a referral-only basis.
