Manage and direct a 70,000 square foot Warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Manager with sole responsibility and ownership of operations and customer service. Train and assist in employee performance management resulting in low turnover and high employee productivity. Plans and manages local routes in the Phoenix Metro area; optimizing delivery time with a 99.77% rate of on-time deliveries.Spearheaded a lean operations project resulting in a 35% reduction in driver load up time, in combination with average route times being shortened by 24%.Safety First mentality contributing to a 28 month record with zero accidents inside and outside of the Warehouse while keeping OSHA standards.

Plan and manage the supply chain for a $550,000 medical device, resolving part shortages, negotiating price and lead time, reducing costs and ensuring part availability.Procure and receive all materials and parts required for production, allowing the production schedule to execute promised delivery dates.Implement, design, and maintain a storage facility to house materials; fully utilizing limited space and optimizing the order picking process.Supervise an Associate Buyer ensuring items are ordered in the right quantity, price, and delivery schedule every time.Operate as a liaison between Gamma Medica, Inc. and distributers of our product answering questions and filling orders in a time effective manner.

Reduced surplus of on-hand inventory by 41% with a book value of $3.1 million which increased capacity and aligned Central Inventory with corporate Operational Excellence goals.Safely pulled, packaged, palletized and documented removal of surplus inventory from the warehouse, clearing up congestion and reducing waste.
