Apart from being a performer, I also run all aspects of this band, which is an all-encompassing job involving lots of creativity, management, audio production, accounting, customer relations, team leading and lots of hard work. I’m the primary writer & arranger of the music. I design most of the concept artwork, write all the information and promotional material, record, mix, and master the audio. I create videos promotional and otherwise for use on youtube and other social media platformsI’m also the booker of our shows, tours and other appearances, this involves a large amount of customer contact, administrative work, contract writing, negotiation, invoicing and managing our time to ensure that we all keep to the schedule.I created this band in 2005 and had been working on it as a hobby until I closed my other business in 2009. I saw it as an opportunity to go semi-professional and push our gigging schedule into something a little more profitable. Since then We've played over 500 shows in 11 countries, sold thousands of records, and have played to tens of thousands of people at festivals!

Over the past few years, I've branched out into other forms of content ranging from instructional videos to short clips for online promotion for businesses, my most recent client engaged me to edit videos for the Polish online casino market.I produce videos for bands, YouTube collaborations, live concerts, and other musical projects.A large part of my work for Pyrates! involves editing audio and large quantities of visual material for the promotion of the band, having expanded outwardly to do this for other groups, and bookers,the musical part of my operations is now done under the 'zero signal media' company name.

As a life long musician I've always played music in a band or solo.I'm most comfortable on the Guitar as it's my main instrument,I can sing lead and harmonies, and have done throughout my career.I also play the Bass, Drums, Mandolin and The Bouzouki.I took up the violin recently, but I'm not very good at it yet.
