Hello my name is David Gamez. I am 29 years old. I am a passionate educator who loves languages and linguistics. I hold a B.A. in Teaching English as a foreign language by the University of Guadalajara. I also hold the CELTA certification. I have been teaching at different levels of education in Mexico; language institutes, high schools and some of the best universities in the region such as Escuela Bancaria Comercial, where I taught Business English to marketing, finance, and commerce undergraduate students and my last job was as an academic coordinator of university language programs at CELE at UNIVA campus Guadalajara.Some of my goals are to get my masters in Anglophile cultures and language studies, masters in German studies, and to get my Ph.D. in Sociolinguistics. I am familiar with the different methodology and theory regarding acquiring a language and what comes with conversations such as pragmatics, context and register.
